Penggunaan Smartphone Sebagai Sumber Informasi Petani Kelapa Sawit Swadaya Di Desa Sari Makmur Kecamatan Pangkalan Lesung Kabupaten Pelalawan
ABSTRACT
Smartphones are used by farmers to find farmer information related to the needs of independent oil palm smallholders. The purpose of this study is to determine the function of smartphones and find out the acceptance model of smartphone technology in independent oil palm farmers in Sari Makmur Village, Pangkalan Lesung District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. 130 independent smallholders as respondents were taken by census. The data analysis is Likert scale analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM). The results of the analysis show that 1 the function of smartphones in farmers is more widely used for entertainment, namely 4-5 times a week, while information and education are only 2-3 times a week, with an average duration of use of 5.5 hours a day. 2 Perception of convenience is significantly influenced by age and family dependents, perception of usefulness is significantly influenced by farming experience and perception of convenience, attitude of use is significantly influenced by perception of convenience and perception of usefulness, then interest in use behavior significantly influenced by perceived usability and usage attitudes.
