Analisis Pendapatan Usahatani Nilam (Pogostemon Cablin Benth.) Di Kecamatan Talamau Kabupaten Pasaman Barat
ABSTRACT
Patchouli farming is a farming business that is run by many farmers in Talamau District, West Pasaman Regency. The purpose of this study is to (1) analyze patchouli farming income, (2) analyze patchouli farming feasibility. The method used in this study is a survey method with sampling techniques using the random sampling method. The number of respondents was 30 respondents. The results showed that the characteristics of farmers aged 15-64 years with formal education were mostly elementary schools, the most experience for 10-20 years, and the average number of dependents of farming families was 1-4 people. The largest land area of respondents is 0.5-1.0 ha, 86.67% of land ownership status is their own land, and for work 83.33% of respondents make patchouli farming as their main job. The R/C ratio of patchouli farming is 2.42 and the feasibility of patchouli farming is 142.22% and the Break Event Point (BEP) of the amount and price of production is 1,776 kg and Rp. 3,406 and farmers obtain on the basis of BEP. This means that patchouli farming is worthy of development.
