Analisis Efisiensi Produksi Nanas Di Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar
ABSTRACT
Pineapple plants are one of the horticultural crops that have an important role because pineapple fruit contains a variety of vitamins, minerals and, enzymes, such as bromelain which can increase immunity. The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency level of pineapple production in Tambang District, Kampar Regency. Kualu Nenas Village and Rimbo Panjang Village are research locations because they are pineapple production centers in the Tambang District of Kampar Regency. Sampling using purposive sampling with the criteria of a land area of ≥ 1 ha. The number of samples of 41 farmers was then calculated proportionally so that 16 farmers were obtained in Kualu Nenas Village and 25 farmers in Rimbo Panjang Village. Data collection techniques are primary using questionnaires and interviews, secondary is BPS. Data analysis is Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) which is a nonparametric approach developed from linear programming. The results of this study showed that the efficient pineapple farming was 27 farmers and the inefficient ones were 14 farmers. Inefficient farmers are caused due to excessive use of inputs. Allocatively efficient farmers as many as 2 farmers and inefficient as many as 39 farmers, inefficient occur because farmers have not been able to combine inputs with input prices to get optimal output. Economically efficient farmers as many as 2 farmers and inefficient as many as 39 farmers, this happens because these farmers have not been able to use inputs efficiently so that the production produced is not optimal and profits have not been maximized.
