Aplikasi Biotrikom Terhadap Perkembangan Akar Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.) Belum Menghasilkan
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the comparison of Biotrikom application to
the development of roots of oil palm plants (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) has not yet
produced. This research was conducted in Sialang Sakti Village, Dayun District,
Siak Regency. This study was conducted for seven months from February to
August 2022. The study was conducted experimentally using a t test consisting of
three treatments with five repeats so that 15 experimental units were obtained.
The treatment given is the dose of Biotrikom as follows: B0: 0 kg per plant, B1: 1
kg per plant and B2: 1,5 kg per plant. The observed modifiers are the number of
primary roots, the number of secondary roots, the number of tertiary roots, the
length of the primary root, the length of the secondary root and the fresh weight of
the roots. The data obtained were statistically analyzed using the t-test (α 5%)
(db=14). The results showed that the application of biotricome had an influence in
increasing the development of the roots of oil palm plants that had not yet
produced. Application of a Biotrikom dose of 1.5 kg per plant is able to increase
the development of the number of primary roots, the number of secondary roots,
the number of tertiary roots, the length of the primary root, the length of the
secondary root and the fresh weight of the roots in immature oil palm plants.
Keywords: Oil palm, Biotrikom, organic fertilizers, root development.
