“Pengaruh Solid Heavy Black Liquor (Hbl) Dan Total Firing Liquor Terhadap Temperature Main Steam (480 ± 5 Oc) Di Recovery Boiler #3”
ABSTRACT
In the pulp and paper industry, the recovery boiler is an important part that has a role in reducing the amount of waste and producing energy. The recovery boiler is used to burn waste material (black liquor) into ash and produce steam which will be used as the main energy. Total firing liquor and solid heavy black liquor (HBL) are factors that influence in recovery boilers. The main steam temperature is one of the important factors that affect the efficiency and performance of the recovery boiler. This is because the main steam temperature affects the production of high pressure steam, energy efficiency in the power generation process, and the stability of plant operations. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to and control the main steam temperature so that the recovery boiler can function optimally, the production process can run smoothly, and the factory can operate safely and stably. The purpose of this final project is to determine the effect of solid HBL and total firing liquor on main steam temperature in recovery boiler #3. The data used in the observation is secondary data from 1 - 31 January 2023, this data was obtained from the Process Engineer (PE) in the recovery boiler. In this observation the method used is to make a scatter chart to determine the correlation relationship of various variables. From the results of the analysis carried out, % solid black liquor and total firing liquor are very influential on the main steam temperature with a correlation of 0.6479 and 0.7323. While the relationship between solid HBL and total firing liquor is very large at the main steam temperature with a correlation of 0.7275.
