ABSTRAC
THE IMPACT OF KOTAKU PROGRAM ON COMMUNITY WELFARE AS SEEN FROM THE ECONOMIC ASPECT (CASE STUDY ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE KOTAKU PROGRAM IN SRI MERANTI KELURAHAN, RUMBAI DISTRICT, PEKANBARU CITY)
The research objective was to determine the impact of the city without slums program (KOTAKU) on the economic aspects of the people of Sri Meranti Village, Rumbai District. This type of research is using a descriptive survey, namely the type of research that describes the variables studied and the quantitative method, namely research in the form of analysis and ends with drawing conclusions in giving advice. The data analysis technique in this study is the different test model. This is used to analyze the research model before and after. The method used is the Paired Sample T-Test analysis model. The analysis was carried out using the SPSS software program.
The results showed that the program implemented in the Sri Meranti Village experienced the fastest reduction in the area of slums through improving the quality of the environment by building settlement infrastructure. This development is expected to bring positive changes to the economic aspects of the community because this aspect is one of the indirect causes of the emergence of slum settlements. The results of the analysis of different tests of paired samples T-test before and after the implementation of the Kotaku community income program were significantly less than 0.05 with 0.00. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis of the workforce from the results of the paired sample T-test difference analysis are significantly smaller than 0.00 0.05. and consumption/expenditure from the results of the analysis of the paired samples T-test before and after the implementation of the Kotaku program, namely 0.00 significantly less than 0.05. This indicates that income, labor and public consumption have a significant influence before and after the implementation of the Kotaku program in Sri Meranti Village, Rumbai District.
