Prarancangan Pabrik Fatty Amine Dari Palm Kernel Oil Dengan Disain Alat Utama Menara Distilasi (T-103)
ABSTRACT
The design of the fatty amine plant from palm kernel oil using the nitrile hydrogenation process aims to determine the location for construction. The fatty amine plant is designed with a capacity of 42,768 tons/year. Fatty acid which is the main raw material for obtaining fatty amine products. This reaction is carried out by reacting fatty acids with ammonia at a temperature of 300oC with a pressure of 2 atm to produce nitrile fat. Furthermore, the nitrile reaction is carried out by reacting fatty nitrile with hydrogen at a temperature of 116oC with a pressure of 11.8 atm and will produce fatty amine products. This factory is planned to be established in 2027 near PTPN 3 Sei Mengkei, North Sumatra. Results Based on the economic analysis and factory feasibility, Cumulative Cash Ratio (CCR) is 2.12, payback is 2.12 years and investment rate (ROROI) is 35.78% for the technique without discount. results Based on the economic analysis, the fatty amine plant design with a capacity of 42,768 tons/year is feasible for consideration for its establishment.
