Pengaruh Pupuk Kandang Ayam Dan Npk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.) Dengan Mengggunakan Biji
ABSTRACT
Shallot is one of the horticultural commodities. Good cultivation of shallots is possible by applying chicken manure and NPK. Sufficient nutrient availability affects shallot growth and production. The purpose of this study was to determine the interactions between chicken manure and NPK factors and to determine the dose combination of the two fertilizers that resulted in the best growth and production of shallot plants. The research was carried out at the Agricultural Experimental Garden Unit at the University of Riau from January to April 2023. This study was conducted in a factorial experiment with a completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor is chicken manure consisting of 4 levels, namely A1 = 5 t.ha-1, A2 = 10 t.ha-1, A3 = 15 t.ha-1, A4 = 20 t.ha-1. The second factor is the application of NPK which consists of 3 levels, namely N0 = 0 kg.ha-1, N1 = 200 kg.ha-1, N2 = 400 kg.ha-1. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, tuber diameter, fresh tuber weight per m2 and stored tuber weight per m2. The results of the variance obtained were continued with Duncan’s Multiple Range Test at the 5% level, data were analyzed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences. The results showed that the combination of chicken manure 15 t.ha-1 and NPK 400 kg.ha-1 gave the best results of viable weight per m2 produced, namely 794.33 g.m-1 or 7.9433 t.ha-1.
