Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Kacang Tanah (Arachis Hypogaea L.) Yang Diberi Arang Sekam Padi Dan Pupuk Fosfor Di Tanah Inseptisol
ABSTRACT
Peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.) are legume plants belonging to the family Fabaceae. Peanut production in Riau Province is declining due to land use change. One of the efforts that can be made to increase peanut production by extensifying agricultural land areas such as marginal land use, namely inceptisol soil. Efforts that can be made are by applying organic fertilizers. This study aims to determine the effect of the interaction of rice husk charcoal and P fertilizer, single factor of rice husk charcoal, single factor P fertilizer, and obtain the best dose of rice husk charcoal and P fertilizer for the growth and production of peanut plants. This research has been carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau for four months starting from November 2021 to February 2022. The study was conducted experimentally in the form of a factorial Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors, namely the first factor of the dose of rice husk charcoal (A) consisting of 3 levels: A0 = Without rice husk charcoal, A1 = Rice husk charcoal 7.5 t.ha-1, A2 = Rice husk charcoal 15 t.ha-1, and The second factor TSP dose (P) consists of 4 levels: P0 = Without TSP fertilizer, P1 = 50 kg.ha-1, P2 = 100 kg.ha-1, P3 = 150 kg.ha-1. The parameters observed were plant height, number of primary branches, age of flowering plants, number of pods per plant, percentage of pithy pods, weight of seeds per plant, weight of 100 dry seeds, weight of dry seeds per plot. The data obtained were statistically analyzed with fingerprints and continued with Duncan's new Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) with a level of 5%. The results showed that there was no interaction between rice husk charcoal and P fertilizer on all observation parameters, and a single factor of rice husk charcoal had a significant effect on plant height, dry seed weight per plant, weight of 100 dry seeds per plant and dry seed weight per plot while the P fertilizer singel factor had a significant effect on plant height, number of pods per plant, weight of dry seeds per plant, weight of 100 dry seeds and weight of dry seeds per plot. The application of rice husk charcoal dose 7.5 t.ha-1 and P fertilizer dose 150 kg.ha-1 resulted in the best growth and production in peanut plants.
