Pengaruh Konsentrasi Filtrat Bawang Merah Dan Lama Perendaman Terhadap Pertumbuhan Setek Jambu Air Citra (Syzygium Aqueum)
ABSTRACT This research aims to study the interaction of onion filtrate concentration and length of immersion on the growth of water guava cuttings and determine the treatment combination of onion filtrate concentration with the length of immersion of each factor to increase the growth of water guava cuttings. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, from June to September 2021. This research was carried out experimentally using a 5 x 3 factorial experiment which was arranged according to a complete randomized design (CRD), with onion filtrate concentration as factor I consisting of (no onion filtrate, 25% onion filtrate concentration, 50% onion filtrate concentration, 75% onion filtrate concentration, 100% onion filtrate concentration), length of immersion as factor II consisting of (6 hours, 9 hours, 12 hours) with 3 replicates. The analyzed data were further tested with real difference honest test at 5% level using SPSS Version 24.0. Parameters observed included percentage of growth, shoot length, number of shoots, age of shoot emergence, root length, number of roots and root volume. The results showed that the growth of water guava cuttings tended to be better in the interaction of 100% concentration of onion filtrate with a length of immersion of 6 hours.
