Uji Beberapa Konsentrasi Ekstrak Kulit Jengkol (Pithecellobium Lobatum Benth.) Untuk Mengendalikan Hama Keong Mas (Pomacea Canaliculata L.) Pada Padi Sawah
ABSTRACT
Rice plants are rice producing food plants. One of the pests that can reduce rice productivity is golden snail (Pomacea canaliculata L). The solution for controlling the golden snail (Pomacea canaliculata L.) use vegetable molluscicides of jengkol skin. This study aims to obtain a concentration of jengkol skin extract (Pithecellobium lobatum Benth.) which is effective in control golden snail pest (Pomacea canaliculata L.) on paddy field. The study was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Pest and Experimental Garden at the Faculty of Agriculture University of Riau from March until May 2023. This researh was conducted experimen using completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of five treatments and four replication, in order to obtain 20 experimental units, the treatments consisted of concentration of jengkol skin extract, namely 0 g.l-1, 25 g.l-1 50 g.l-1, 75 g.l-1, 100 g.l-1. Jengkol skin extract with a concentration 100 g.l-1 water effective for controlling golden snail pests because concentration caused the total mortality of golden snail (Pomacea canaliculata L.) of 87,25 %, with initial time of death 17,25 jam and lethal time 50 (LT50) 33,75 jam.
