Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Berbasis Problem Based Learning Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Peserta Didik Kelas VII SMP/Mts Materi Perbandingan
This development research aims to produce learning tools including syllabus,
learning implementation plans (RPP) and student worksheets (LKPD) that are valid and
practical based on the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to facilitate the
mathematical problem solving abilities (KPMM) of class VII students SMP/MTs on
comparative material. This development research uses a 4-D model (Define, Design,
Develop, and Disseminate). At the define stage the researcher analyzes the needs of
students to get information about what is needed by students. In the Design Stage, the
researcher made the initial form of the developed learning device. In the Develop stage,
researchers carry out validation, product revisions and trials. The validity of learning
devices is assessed by three validators to determine the level of validity. Obtained an
average syllabus validation of 3.88; RPP 3.93 and LKPD 3.79 with "very valid" criteria.
The LKPD that has been validated is then tested on class VIII students to find out the
level of practicality. The small group test was carried out on 10 students with an
average practicality of 3.52 in the "very practical" category. The large group test was
carried out on 23 students with an average practicality of 3.57 in the "very practical"
category. Furthermore, at the Dissemination stage, the researcher packaged the product
into a book to be disseminated. Thus, the conclusion from the results of product
development in the form of learning tools in the material for Comparison of class VII
SMP/MTs already meets valid and practical criteria.
