Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Simas Eric Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Pokok Bahasan Asam Basa Kelas XI SMAN 12 Pekanbaru
The research mean to find out whether the application of the Simas Eric
learning model can improve student learning outcomes on the subject of acid-base
class XI SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. The research conducted was experimental research
with a non-equivalent control group design. The experimental class was given
treatment in the form of applying the Simas Eric learning model and the control class
without the Simas Eric learning model. This research was conducted at SMAN 12
Pekanbaru class XI MIPA even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The
sample in this study were 2 classes. Class XI MIPA 1 as the experimental class and
XI MIPA 2 as the control class. The data collection technique used a test in the form
of pretest-posttest questions. Data analysis techniques from research results were
carried out using the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. As a
prerequisite test, the normality test and pretest homogeneity test were carried out in
the control and experimental classes. From the results of the analysis it was found
that the frequency of pretest scores for XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 2 classes were
normally distributed and homogeneous. Test the research hypothesis using the rightsided
t-test with the calculation results obtained tcount = 2.00263 while the t-table
obtained with probability 1 – α with α = 0.05 and dk = 70 is 1.66691. It can be seen
that tcount ˃ ttable. namely 2.00263 ˃ 1.66691. It can be concluded that the
implementation of the Simas Eric learning model can improve student learning
outcomes on the subject of Acid-Base class XI MIPA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru.
