Pengembangan Media Komik Berbasis Etnomatematika Pada Materi Kesetaraan Nilai Mata Uang Untuk Siswa Kelas II Sekolah Dasar
This study aims to develop ethnomathematics-based comic media on currency equivalence for grade II elementary school students that is valid and practical. This research uses R&D (Research and Development) research with a 4D model or Four-D Models (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination). In collecting data, researchers used validation sheets and questionnaires for student and teacher responses on a scale of 1-4. Based on the results of the validation test conducted by 3 validators, namely the media validator, the material validator, and the language validator, the product is in a very decent category with an average percentage of the overall validation of 94.44%. Meanwhile, based on the results of a limited trial conducted by 2 teachers and 10 grade II students at SD Negeri 99 Pekanbaru, a product that was in the very practical category was obtained with an average percentage of limited test results by teachers, 95.84% in the very practical category and an average percentage -the average limited test result by students is 91.25% in the very practical category. Thus, based on the results of validation by 3 validators and product trials by teachers and students, it can be concluded that the developed ethnomathematics-based comic media products have fulfilled the appropriate and practical assessment category.
