Keberadaan Hama Kutu Putih (Dysmicoccus Brevipes) (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) Pada Tanaman Nanas Di Lahan Gambut Kabupaten Kampar
ABSTRACT The mealybug Dysmicoccus brevipes Cockerell is one of the most important pests on pineapple plants. Losses due to mealybug attacks reach 69-73%. To prevent its spread and determine control measures, it is necessary to study the population and distribution of the pest. This research The aim of this research was to determine the presence of mealybugs and identification of mealybugs on any part of the pineapple plant in peat allotments. The research was conducted at the allotment pineapple garden in Rimbo Panjang Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency and the Laboratory of Plant Pests, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau. The study was conducted in February 2022. The parameters observed in this study were identification of mealybugs, populations of mealybugs on plant parts and symptoms of mealybug attacks on every part of the plant Presence of mealybugs (Dysmicoccus brevipes) (Hemiptera: Pseudooccidae) on nan plants such as in peat bogs in Kampar Regency, it was concluded that mealybugs mostly affect the leaves, as many as 468 compared to the roots.On the fruit parts were there 593 compared to fruit stems and crowns and the results of mealybug identification with the species D. brevipes.
