Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Npk Dan Magnesium Pada Tanaman Over Pruning Terhadap Komponen Produksi Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.)
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the influence of single factors and the interaction of NPK fertilizer and magnesium fertilizer on over-pruning plants on the production component of oil palm plants (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) and get the best dose. This research was conducted in Kepau Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The study was conducted for seven months from April to October 2022. This study was conducted experimentally using a factorial group randomized design. The first factor is the dose of NPK fertilizer with 4 levels, namely N0: 0 kg per plant, N1: 3 kg per plant, N2: 4 kg per plant, N3: 5 kg per plant. The second factor is the dose of magnesium fertilizer with 3 levels, namely M0: 0 kg per plant, M1: 1 kg per plant, M2: 2 kg per plant. The parameters observed were the number of female flower bunches, the number of male flower bunches, sex ratio, number of fruit bunches, fruit bunch weight, fresh fruit weight, fresh fruit volume, and mesocarp thickness. The data obtained were statistically analyzed by fingerprinting using the SAS application and DNMRT follow-up test at a level of 5%. The results showed that applying NPK fertilizer 5 kg per plant increased the weight of fruit bunches, the weight of fresh fruits, the volume of fresh fruit and the thickness of the mesocarp. The application of magnesium fertilizer has no effect on all observation parameters. The interaction of NPK and magnesium fertilizer did not affect all observation parameters of oil palm plants resulting in a lifespan of 15 years.
