Pengaruh Pupuk Npk Dan Waktu Pemberian Pupuk Terhadap Perbaikan Produksi Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.) Yang Kurang Terawat

ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the influence of single factors and interactions of NPK fertilizer and fertilizer application time on the growth and production of untreated oil palm plants (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.). This research has been carried out at the Rimbo Panjang Agrotechnology Education Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, Jl. Raya Pekanbaru Bengkinang Km 21 Rimbo Panjang Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency, Riau. The study was conducted for eight months from February 2022 to October 2022. This study was conducted experimentally using a factorial group randomized design. The first factor is the dose of NPK fertilizer with 4 levels, namely N1: 6 kg per plant, N2: 8 kg per plant, N3: 10 kg per plant, N4: 12 kg per plant. The second factor is the time of fertilizer application with 2 levels, namely W1: 1 time per 8 months, W2: 2 times per 8 months. The parameters observed were the number of female flower bunches, the number of male bunch flowers, sex ratio, number of fruit bunches, fruit bunch weight, fresh fruit weight and fresh fruit volume. The results showed that the application of NPK fertilizer 8 kg per plant had an effect in increasing the weight of fruit bunches, the weight of fresh fruit and the volume of fresh fruit. The timing of fertilizer application has no effect on all observations. The interaction of NPK fertilizer application and fertilizer application time did not affect all observations of untreated oil palm plants.
