Analisis Kesiapan Guru Dalam Menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar
This study aims to determine (1) teacher readiness in implementing the
independent learning curriculum. (2) obstacles faced by teachers in implementing
the independent learning curriculum. The background of this research is 21st
century learning which requires teachers to be able to apply students to creativity,
critical thinking, cooperation, problem solving, communication skills, societal and
character skills. So the government issued the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum.
However, teachers are not ready to implement an independent curriculum. The
method used is quantitative descriptive method. The source of this research data
is primary data obtained from questionnaires to all teachers of SMPIT Al-Andalus
Pekanbaru and SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru with a total of 64 teachers. The data
collection techniques used are documentation and questionnaires. The results
showed that the readiness of teachers at SMPIT Al-Andalus Pekanbaru was 7
people (63,6%) with a fairly good category and SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru 17
(32,1%) people with a fairly good category in implementing the Merdeka
curriculum. However, there are several obstacles faced by teachers in
implementing the independent curriculum, namely difficulty in understanding the
concept and structure of the independent curriculum, not understanding the
module components. As well as the inability of teachers to use learning
technology, so teachers need to attend training and be active in the community
and also need a companion to compile this lesson plan or teaching module
optimally.
