ABSTRACT
This research were aims to determine the effect of rice husk ash, N, P, K fertilizer treatment and the interaction of rice husk ash with N, P, K fertilizer and to determine the best treatment on the growth and yield of upland rice (Oryza sativa L.) on peat soil medium. The research was conducted for 5 months starting from June 2022 to October 2022. The research used completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor was rice husk ash. The rice husk ash consists of three standards, they are 2 t.ha-1, 4 t.ha-1 and 6 t.ha-1. The second factor was dosage level of N, P, K fertilizer. This fertilizer consists of three standards, they are 50%, 75% and 100% (300 kg.ha-1, 100 kg.ha-1, 100 kg.ha-1. The observed parameters were plants height, root dry weight, crown dry weight, maximum number of tillers, age panicle, numbers of productive tillers, harvest age, number of paddy grains per panicle, percentage of paddy grains, weight of milled dry grain peer clump, and weight of 1000 paddy grains. The results of research showed that the interaction of rice husk ash and N, P, K fertilizer can affect to increase the yield of rice plants on the parameter of the number of productive tillers and weight of milled dry grain per clump. The best interaction is with dose rice husk ash 4-6 t. ha-1 and 100% dose N, P, K fertilizer.
