Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Dosen Pembimbing Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa Dengan Metode Profile Matching

ABSTRACT
Abstract: Final project is an important stage for students to complete their studies. In the selection of a final project advisor, students often face difficulties in choosing the right advisor who matches their chosen project topic. Therefore, a system is needed to assist students in selecting their final project advisor.
This research aims to implement the profile matching method in developing a web-based decision support system for the selection of final project advisors. The methodology used in the development of this system is the prototype method, which allows communication and interaction between the program developers and the research objects for requirement analysis, design, and testing purposes.
The research results show that the decision support system was tested on 10 respondents, who provided weight values for 7 criteria based on the predefined weight values. The developed system successfully implements the web-based profile matching method using the Flask framework. The testing results demonstrate a 100% consistency between the system's calculations and manual calculations.
Thus, this decision support system can serve as a reference for students to effectively and efficiently choose their final project advisor.
