Analisis Penentuan Jenis Konstruksi Jalan Lingkungan Pada Kawasan Perkotaan
Development of road infrastructure, especially local roads in urban areas,
is a pillar of economic development in Pekanbaru City because the distribution of
goods and services must reach all areas. In this case the Riau Region Settlement
Infrastructure Center, Directorate General of Human Settlement, during the
Community-Based Infrastructure (CBI) Program KOTAKU (National Slum
Upgrading Project) in urban slum areas continues to build local road
infrastructure with the type of construction appropriate to the conditions of the
region. Several variables are taken into account in determining the type of local
road construction, namely road service coverage, budget, population, volume, land
use and road surface quality. However, so far the environmental roads that have
been built are dominated by rigid pavement by 96% and paving block roads by 4%
where there are significant differences so that they have not represented decision
making in determining the type of local road construction.
This research aims to find out what variables are the most dominant
influences in determining the type of construction of residential neighborhoods
roads in urban slums area in Pekanbaru City. So that it is expected to help related
parties in making policies in determining the type of environmental road
construction in urban slum areas in Pekanbaru City. This research uses the SEM
PLS method because it combines numerical variables with non-numerical variables
that cannot be solved by ordinary linear regression.
In this study, an equation model was obtained, namely Road Construction
Type = - 0.077 * Population - 0.047 * Road Surface Quality + 0.040 * Road service
coverage + 0.617 * Budget. From this equation, the variables that strengthen
decision making on the type of road construction are the budget cost of 61.7% and
road service coverage of 4%. Variables that reduce decision making on the type of
road construction are population 7.7% and road surface quality 4.7%. the variable
that has the greatest influence is the cost budget variable, which is 61.7%.
