ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the effect of per capita Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita and Interest Rate (BI Rate) on M2 Money Demand Period 2002-2021. The method of analysis in this study uses secondary data which is classified as time series data which is descriptive and quantitative. The data analysis technique in this study uses multiple and linear regression model estimation with statistical tests (t test, F test, coefficient of determination R 2) classical assumption test. The results of this study indicate that the interest rate variable has a negative and significant effect on the demand for money. per capita GDP has a positive and insignificant effect on the demand for money.
