ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine differences in the collection and distribution of zakat funds at LAZnas PHR, Dompet Dhuaffa and YBM BRILian in Riau Province. By knowing the difference in the average distribution of zakat and analyzing which data is larger in the process of collecting and distributing zakat. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained in the form of reports on the receipt and distribution of zakat from the three zakat institutions. The analytical method used in this study is a non-parametric statistical analysis technique using the Kruskal Wallis test to see the difference in the average collection and distribution of zakat which is processed using a tool, namely IBM SPSS 2022. The results show that there are differences in the average collection and distribution of zakat funds at LAZnas PHR, Dompet Dhuaffa and YBM BRILian in Riau Province, to strengthen the test results the researchers conducted interviews with the managers of zakat institutions, so that the results obtained were that the differences were because the three Zakat institutions had their own strategies and ways to collect and distribute zakat. The differences in the collection of the three zakat institutions are found in the sources of funds and information dissemination strategies as well as ways to attract the attention of muzakki to pay zakat to these institutions. And the difference in the distribution of zakat to the three institutions is found in the programs made by zakat institutions and of course affects the process of channeling zakat funds.
