Rancang Bangun Alat Resusitasi Jantung Paru
ABSTRACT
Technological developments play an important role in supporting medical equipment
facilities, especially in the compression action (CPR) apparatus. CPR (cardiopulmonary
resuscitation) is a first aid measure for victims of cardiac arrest where compression is given for 4
cycles, each cycle consisting of 30 compressions. CPR that is given manually can endanger the
victim due to certain factors such as less or more pressure being applied.
This study aims to create an optimal automatic cardiopulmonary resuscitation device to
help victims breathe. This CPR tool uses a Nema 23 stepper motor as a driving motor, the motor
driver uses a TB6600 driver as a motor controller. At the time of testing, within 1 minute it
produced 103 compressions and within 18 seconds it produced 30 compressions. At the strength
of the stepper motor torque is only able to lift a load of 7 kg, the torque generated is 2.06 Nm.
