Pemetaan Tingkat Kebisingan Pada Jam Puncak Akibat Aktivitas Transportasi Di Persimpangan Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution-Jalan Soekarno Hatta Kota Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
The growth of the population in Pekanbaru city each year has led to an increase in the number of motor vehicles, resulting in a rise in noise intensity. The aim of this research is to measure and map the noise level during peak hours at the intersection of Kaharuddin Nasution Street and Soekarno Hatta Street in Pekanbaru city, analyze the relationship between the number of vehicles and noise levels, and determine appropriate measures to reduce the noise level. The equipment used in this research is a Sound Level Meter (SLM) and the data collection was carried out for 2 days, specifically on Tuesday representing a weekday and Saturday representing a weekend at 26 measurement points. The correlation between noise levels and the number of vehicles was tested using the SPSS application. The research results indicate that the highest noise level on Tuesday (weekday) was recorded at point H15, reaching 104,22 dBA, while on Saturday (weekend), the highest noise level was also at point H15, reaching 97.40 dBA. Noise levels > 95 dBA are marked in red on the map. The correlation test results between noise levels and the number of vehicles show a value of 0.836, indicating a very strong correlation, meaning that as the number of vehicles increases, the noise level also increases. Noise control measures are applied to the noise source, noise transmission path, and noise receiver.
