Isolasi Dan Identifikasi Bakteri Vibrio Sp. Pada Udang Vaname (Litopenaeus Vannamei) Di Sistem Tambak Tradisional Dan Intensif Desa Pambang Kabupaten Bengkalis
ABSTRACT
Vaname shrimp is the most popular shrimp among shrimp ponds throughout Indonesia. Vannamei shrimp has the
advantage of being a high selling price and easy to cultivate, however vannamei shrimp farmers often find vibriosis
disease in shrimp caused by Vibrio sp. this is a phenomenon that can be detrimental to vannamei shrimp farmers,
both those using intensive and traditional pond systems. This study aims to isolate and identify Vibrio sp. on
vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) in traditional and intensive pond systems in Pambang Village, Bengkalis
Regency. This research was conducted in Pambang Village, Bengkalis Regency. The method in this study is a
survey method. Research data collection was carried out in two ponds, namely traditional and intensive, each taking
2 shrimp in 3 traditional ponds and 3 ponds in intensive, for representatives in each of 2 (two) different pond
systems. Vaname shrimp (L. vannamei) were taken by using anco and then transferred to a plastic bag filled with
pond water aseptically after that put the sample into the coolbox, 2 shrimp were taken for each representative for 1
pond from 3 intensive shrimp ponds and 3 traditional shrimp ponds with shrimp size around 10-15 cm, these
samples will then be further analyzed at the Bacterial Laboratory of the Fish Quarantine Station Quality Control and
Safety of Fishery Products (SKIPM). The results showed that there were 12 isolates of Vibrio sp. From 6 ponds,
identification of the tested bacteria was carried out when isolated on agar media.
