ABSTRACT
This research is based on the dangers of stunting, and the condition of stunting which is still high in Kampar Regency, especially in Tapung District. Stunting of course affects the growth and development of a child. Based on these problems, this study aims to 1) analyze the effect of maternal age at pregnancy on the incidence of stunting in Tapung District, Kampar Regency. 2) Effect of parents' education level on stunting incidents in Tapung District, Kampar Regency. 3) Influence parents' income level on the incidence of stunting in Tapung District, Kampar Regency. In this study the authors used a quantitative research approach method. The number of samples used in this study were 55 parents of toddlers who were stunted in the Indra Sakti Subdistrict, Tapung Subdistrict. Data analysis technique is to use multiple regression models. The results of the hypothesis testing show that: 1) Age of the Mother at Pregnancy has a significant effect on the incidence of stunting in Indrasakti Village, Kec.Tapung. 2) Education has a significant effect on the incidence of stunting in Indrasakti Village, Tapung District. 3) Income level has a positive and significant influence on the incidence of stunting in Indrasakti Village, Tapung District. Based on the research results, several recommendations can be given, namely as follows: 1) The community must be wiser in providing nutritional intake to children, 2) To the government, in order to run the stunting eradication program to the maximum,
