Abstract
This study aims to determine the impact of using Village Funds to increase the income of the Sari Galuh Village Community, Tapung District, Kampar Regency.
The research population is the entire community of family heads in Sari Galuh Village who are involved in the utilization of the Village Fund, as many as 145 people. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling using the Taroyamane formula calculation so that 34 respondents were obtained from the total population. Measurements carried out in this study were using descriptive analysis and non-parametric test analysis with the Sign Test and the Wilcolxon test using the SPSS program. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the use of village funds had an impact on increasing the income of the Sari Galuh Village Community, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. This is evidenced by the sign test for calculating the calculated Z obtained with a value of 4.12 and the Z table for the 5% alpha level is 1.96. So that the Z-count value is greater than the Z-table value so that Ho is rejected, Ha is accepted, meaning that the income of the Sari Galuh village community before the village funds was smaller than the income of the Sari Galuh village community after the village funds increased by 85.29% and 14.57% experienced decrease based on the total data recapitulation of respondents . The increase in community income is due to community involvement in village fund utilization activities, such as village infrastructure development activities that involve the community as workers and receive wages every day they work, besides that in empowerment activities also involve the community such as a cattle rearing program whose sales will be divided equally. with community groups involved.
