Keanekaragaman Jenis-Jenis Anggota Famili Myrtaceae Berdasarkan Karakteristik Morfologi Di Universitas Riau

ABSTRACT
Myrtaceae is one of the familiy whitin the order Myrtales. This family poses high morphological characters. This study aims to identify the species of Myrtaceae family from Universyty of Riau area and examined their diversity based on morphological characters. This research was conducted from September to December 2022. Sampling from the field was carried out using the exploratory method. Morphological characters were described, scored and analyzed using NTSys pc2.02. The results showed a total of 10 species (five genera) whitin the family Myrtaceae were identified. The dendrogam was divided into 2 large groups of waiting groups I and II. The coefficient of similarity values ranged from 0.29 to 0.76.The dendrogram shows grouping based on morphological characters based, on endocarp color, exocarp color, seed shape and seed color.
