Prarancangan Pabrik Potassium Phospate Dengan Proses Netralisasi Dengan Alat Utama Spray Dryer Kh2po4 (S-710)
ABSTRACT
Potassium Phosphate (KH2PO4) is one of the few inorganic fertilizers produced locally. This fertilizer consists of the main components of potassium and phosphate where these elements are macronutrients needed by plants. The need for imports of Potassium Phosphate in Indonesia has tended to increase in the last five years. Potassium Phosphate production plants are still minimally established in Indonesia, so they still meet domestic demand by importing from abroad. The purpose of the KH2PO4 Spray Dryer (S-710) is to crystallize the product in the form of potassium phosphate by contacting it with dry air. Spray Dryer operating conditions (S-&10) with a feed temperature of 100℃ and a pressure of 1 atm and a dry air temperature of 370℃. The Potassium Phosphate factory is planned to be established in the Gresik Industrial Estate (KIG), East Java with a production capacity of 8,000 tons/year. The main tool design is an evaporator with a height of 2.011 m with the ability to produce 99% purity. Total Capital Investment (TCI) in the pre-designed Potassium Phosphate Factory amounted to IDR 208,782,377,784 or US$ 13,943,447.59. Based on the results of economic analysis, the Potassium Phosphate Factory is feasible to build with a BEP value of 22%, ROI of 34.92%, and IRR of 22.74%, PBP for 2.7 years.
