Strategi Pengembangan Industri Madu Pada Rumah Madu Wilbi Kuok Kabupaten Kampar
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to find out what are the internal and external factors
and formulate the right strategy in the development of the honey industry at the
Wilbi Kuok Honey House. The sample in this study used a purposive sampling
method of 2 respondents from internal parties. The analysis tool in this research is
a SWOT analysis (strength, weakness, opportunity and threat) by looking at the
strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that Wilbi Honey House has. The
results showed that based on the SWOT matrix analysis it produced 4 alternative
strategies and the strategy that could be carried out by the Wilbi Honey House was
an aggressive strategy which based on the SWOT quadrant the position of the Wilbi
Honey House was in quadrant 1 so that it focused more on the SO (Strenght-
Opportunity) strategy. Wilbi Honey House must maintain a good relationship
between the company and raw material suppliers to ensure a smooth supply of raw
materials, increase the role of the workforce in producing good and quality products
and maintain product quality so that it meets SNI standards, increases public trust
and can compete in the market.
