Jenis Dan Populasi Hama Lalat Buah (Bactrocera Spp.) Pada Tanaman Jeruk Siam Di Desa Sangkir Indah Kecamatan Pagaran Tapah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu
ABSTRACT
Citrus plants are a mainstay commodity for horticulture in Riau Province, especially Siamese oranges. Citrus cultivation is inseparable from fruit fly pests (Bactrocera spp.). This study aims to obtain the types and populations of fruit fly pests that attack Siamese oranges (Citrus nobilis Lour) in Sangkir Indah Village, Pagaran Tapah District, Rokan Hulu Regency. The research method uses the method purposive sampling determine the location of the sample plants. Determination of sample plants by systematic sampling method with a row pattern of 10% of the sample plants. The total samples observed were 28 plants. Observations using petragenol traps for imago stages, and further observations of infected fruit direaring until the imago is formed. The results showed that there were 3 types of fruit flies namely Bactrocera carambolae, Bactrocera papayae and Bactrocera umbrosa. The population of fruit flies in Sangkir Indah Village is at the economic threshold with an average 7 day trap of 8.14 individuals and an average trap/day of 1.16 individuals. The attack intensity was relatively low, namely 1.86%, but the percentage of infected plants was high, namely 100%.
