Prarancangan Pabrik Biosurfaktan Proses Fermentasi Glukosa Off-Grade Dengan Desain Alat Utama Fermentor (R-102)
ABSTRACT
Surfactants have many uses in the industrial world, namely as emulsifiers, wetting agents and detergents. The main raw materials used in making biosurfactants using the fermentation process are Off-Grade Glucose and P.aeruginosa bacteria. This factory is planned to operate for 330 days per year and work continuously 24 hours/day with a capacity of 8,000 tons/year which will be established in Tulang Bawang, Lampung. The main equipment design in this factory is the Fermenter (R-102) which functions as a place to ferment Off-Grade Glucose and P.aeruginosa bacteria into Rhamnolipid Biosurfactant. The data used in the analytical study were obtained from literature observations. The analysis was carried out quantitatively based on the criteria of NPV, IRR, BEP, ROI and sensitivity analysis. Based on non-financial specs consisting of market, environment, management and law, there are no obstacles that hinder the construction and operation of the factory. From a financial perspective, factory construction can be carried out with an NPV value of IDR 349,062,429,546.94; IRR 22.71; PBP 4.75 years; BEP 47% and ROI 20.51%.
