Analisis Struktur, Perilaku, Dan Kinerja Industri Pengolahan Tepung Tapioka Di Kota Pekanbaru

This study aims to determine the market structure, behavior and performance of the tapioca flour processing industry in Pekanbaru City. The approach method used in this study uses a descriptive and quantitative approach. The types of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained directly from respondents through interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained from government agencies such as the Central Bureau of Statistics for the City of Pekanbaru and the Department of Trade and Industry of the City of Pekanbaru. The analytical method used was MS, CR4, IHH, CLR ,PCM and XEF, a population of 13 flour processing businesses and the entire population was sampled using the census sampling method. The results of the analysis show that the market structure of the flour processing industry in Pekanbaru City is an oligopoly market with the highest Market Share (MS) of 20.089%, and the lowest Market Share (MS) of 3,171%, with a CR4 value of 54,268%, and IHH value is 1.069,11. Then the behavioral analysis calculated based on the CLR shows that the flour processing industry in Pekanbaru City is a capital-intensive industry, and the behavior of using advertisements business actors tent to choose to use the power of word of mounth. And the performance of the flour processing industry calculated based on PCM shows that profits are not affected by market share strength with an average value of 49,394%, where the highest PCM value is 82,216% and the lowest PCM value is 18,972%. and the average XEF value is 138,148%, where the highest XEF value is 462,302%, and the lowest XEF value is 23,415%.
