Pengaruh Supervisi Kepala Sekolah Dan Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru Terhadap Kinerja Guru SMA Kecamatan Rengat
SUMMARY
The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of principal supervision on the performance of Rengat District High School teachers, analyze the influence of teacher pedagogical competence on the performance of Rengat District High School teachers, and analyze principal supervision and teacher pedagogical competence on the performance of Rengat District High School teachers. This research uses an ex post facto (non-experimental) approach with a correlational design. This research will be carried out at Rengat District High School, December 2022 to September 2023. The type of data in this research uses quantitative research. The population in this study were all high school teachers in Rengat District, totaling 116 people and the number of samples taken in the research was 90 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. The instruments used in this research were questionnaires and documentation. Instruments for performance variables and academic supervision of school principals used questionnaires. The questionnaire in this study used a Likert scale.
The research results show that there is a positive and significant influence of the principal's academic supervision (X1) on teacher performance (Y), seen at a sig value of 0.000. The sig value is smaller than the probability value of 0.05, or the value 0.000 < 0.05, then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This shows that the better the principal's implementation of academic supervision, the better the teacher's performance will be. Apart from that, there is also a positive and significant influence of teacher pedagogical competence (X1) on teacher performance (Y), seen at a sig value of 0.000. The sig value is smaller than the probability value of 0.05, or the value 0.000 < 0.05, then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that if the teacher's pedagogical competence is high then the teacher's performance will also increase. Likewise, the influence of the principal's academic supervision and teacher pedagogical competence together influence performance. This result can be seen from the F test table, it is known that the Sig value is 0.000. This value is less than 0.05. The influence of the principal's academic supervision and teacher pedagogical competence on teacher performance is 81.7%, while the rest is determined by other factors that are not part of this research. This means that the implementation of good supervision by the principal and high pedagogical competence of the teacher will influence teacher performance.
