Gambaran Hasil Pemeriksaan Dipstick Urine Pada Lansia Dengan Keluhan Nyeri Pinggang Di Panti Sosial Khusnul Khotimah Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
Urine dipstick is a test strip that chemically detects leukocyte, nitrite, urobilinogen, protein, pH, erythrocyte, specific gravity, ketone, bilirubin, and glucose in urine. This strip is usually used for kidney and urinary tract disease and also metabolic disease health screening. In elderly, flank pain can direct a diagnose to kidney and urinary tract disease such as urolithiasis and urinary tract infection (UTI). This study aims to describe the result of urine dipstick examination in elderly with flank pain at Khusnul Khotimah Social Home Pekanbaru. This research method is descriptive with cross-sectional design and using primary data such as questionnaire and urine dipstick examination. The sample is taken by total sampling where all the elderly at Khusnul Khotimah Social Home that fit with the inclusion and exclusion criteria is involved in this research by July-August 2023. The result showed the most patient have an abnormal value or positive in leukocyte and protein test. With the most urine pH is 5,0(acidic) and specific gravity is 1.025-1.030 (hypersthenuria).
