Pengaruh Sertifikasi Profesi Guru Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru SD Negeri Se Kecamatan Kempas Indragiri Hilir

SUMMARY
One of the determinants of educational success is teacher performance. Teachers are professional educators who have important duties, functions and roles in achieving school goals. However, in reality, based on the results of pre-research with several principals and teachers of state elementary schools in Kempas Indragiri Hilir District, there are phenomena where there are still some teachers who experience problems and obstacles in carrying out their professional performance duties. This research aims to determine the effect of teacher professional certification on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Kempas Indragiri Hilir District, to determine the influence of teacher work motivation on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Kempas Indragiri Hilir District and to determine the influence of teacher professional certification and teacher work motivation on the performance of state elementary schools throughout Kempas Indragiri Hilir District.
This research was conducted at public elementary schools in Kempas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. This research started in January and will be completed until August 2023. The population in this research are teachers who have received teacher professional certification allowances at State Elementary Schools in Kempas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, with a total of 118 people. Based on the slovin formula used, a sample of 94 teachers was found in Public Elementary Schools in the Kempas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. To obtain data according to the independent variable and dependent variable, this research used three questionnaires, namely: (1) Teacher professional certification questionnaire (2) Teacher work motivation questionnaire (3) Teacher performance questionnaire. Technical analysis of data carried out in this study using descriptive and inferential statistics.
Based on the research results, it is known that there is a significant and positive influence of professional certification on teacher performance in State Elementary Schools in Kempas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, which is shown by the t test that the sig value is 0.000. The sig value is smaller than the probability value of 0.05, or the value of 0.000
