Kualitas Spermatozoa Sapi Bali Dikriopreservasi Dalam Pengencer Tris Kuning Telur Dengan Ekstrak Daun Teh Hijau (Camellia Sinensis)
This research aims to determine the effect of giving green tea leaf extract (Camellia sinensis) in egg yolk tris diluent to improve the quality of Bali bull semen in the cryopreservation process based on the values of motility, viability, and recovery rate of spermatozoa. The research was conducted at the Riau Province Livestock Artificial Insemination Unit in January 2023. Semen was collected using the artificial vagina method. The requirements for fresh semen is to have a motility ≥ 70%. The research used an experimental method with a complete randomized faktorial design consisting of 4 treatments, namely P0 (0g = control), P1 (0.05 g/100 ml diluent solution), P2 (0.1 g green tea leaf extract/100 ml diluent solution), and P3 (0.15 g green tea leaf extract/100 ml diluent solution).
