Struktur Komunitas Bivalva Pada Ekosistem Padang Lamun Di Desa Teluk Bakau Kecamatan Gunung Kijang Kabupaten Bintan Kepulauan Riau
Abstract
Bivalve community structure is closely related to seagrass ecosystem as well as environmental condition. Any changing in environmental condition may affects the bivalve community in general. To understand the community structure of bivalve community in the Teluk Bakau Village, a research was carried out in January-February 2023. Bivalve and seagrass samplings were conducted in 3 stations, namely in the area close to human inhabitant (S1), ecotourism area (S2) and in the area with no human activity (S3). In each station, there were 3 transect lines and in each line there were 6 plots (1x1m). Bivalve and seagrass samplings were conducted 3 times. Bivalve and seagrass were collected manually from each plot and then calculated and identified. Results shown that there were 12 species of bivalve and 5 species of seagrass. Bivalve abundance was 27,11 organisms/m2 in S1, 26,55 organisms/m2 in S2 and 43,66 organisms/m2 in S3. The most abundant bivalve present in the study area was Anandara acoroides and it was present in each station. The seagrass density ranged from 51,77-86,44 plants/m2 and the most common seagrass was Halodoe acoroides that can be found in each station. The value of bivalve biodiversity index ranges from 2,9351-,2296 (high), while the uniformity index value was 0,9542-0,9783 (high spesies uniformity) and the dominance index was 0,1122-0,1357 (there was a dominant species), The result of the simple linear regression test on the relationship of seagrass density with bivalve abudance is r2= 0,76 where that 76% of the seagras density affects bivalve abudance and another 24% is affected by other factors ( the relationship is categorized as very strong).
