Persepsi Ibu Yang Mempunyai Anak Stunting Tentang Faktor Risiko Penyebabnya Di Desa Hang Tuah Kabupaten Kampar (Studi Kualitatif)
ABSTRACT
Stunting is a problem of considerable concern in developing countries, especially Indonesia, because stunting can threaten the quality of a country's human resources. The incidence of stunting is closely related to the risk factors that cause it. Mothers as the main caregivers of a stunted child must understand the risk factors for stunting so that stunting does not happen again and can be prevented. So the purpose of this study is to determine the perceptions of mothers who have stunted children about the risk factors that cause it in Hang Tuah Village, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The sample of this study were mothers who had stunted children and were recommended by the Perhentian Raja Health Center in Hang Tuah Village, Perhentian Raja District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. This study used a qualitative approach with data analysis in the form of thematic analysis. The results showed that most mothers who have stunted children already have a good perception of the risk factors that cause stunting before pregnancy, during pregnancy, and after the birth of their child. They also have a good understanding of the importance of the increased risk of stunting due to infectious diseases, as well as poor social, economic and environmental factors.
