Pola Bakteri Dan Uji Sensitivitas Antibiotik Pada Sputum Pasien Rawat Inap Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronik Di RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode 1 Januari 2022 - 31 Agustus 2023
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a respiratory disease characterized by respiratory symptoms and airflow limitation that are persistent and generally progressive. This study aims to determine bacterial patterns and test antibiotic sensitivity in the sputum of inpatients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at Arifin Achmad Riau provincial hospital for the period 1 January 2022 - 31 August 2023. The type of research used was descriptive retrospective using a cross sectional design. The sampling technique was carried out using the total sampling method with a total of 39 samples that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of this study show that chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is more often found in male patients (79.5%). The majority of ages are 55-64 and 65-74 years (30.8%), with a high school diploma or equivalent amounting to (46.2%), and work as self-employed (66.7%). Gram positive bacteria were only staphylococcus aureus (10.3%). Gram negative bacteria are dominated by pseudomonas aeruginosa (25.6%), Acinetobacter baumannii (23.1%), Escherichia coli (12.8%), and Klebsiella pneumoniae (10.3%). The antibiotics that have the highest sensitivity are tigecycline and trimethroprim/sulfamethoxazole (100%) and gentamycin (75%) for Gram positive bacteria while the antibiotics amikacin (85.7%), cefepime and meropenem (65.7%) and ceftazidime (62.9%) %) has the highest sensitivity in Gram negative.
