Profil Berat Organ Paru Dirumah Sakit Bhayangkara Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau Periode 2016-2021
Organs weighed after death play an important role in deducing the cause of death. The lungs are one of the organs that are weighed because they can be used as a marker of disease and abnormalities in the lungs. This study aims to assess the average weight of lung organs post mortem, assess the average weight of lung organs based on age and gender and find out the number of resort police who requested a Visum et Repertum. The design of this study was a retrospective descriptive study by observing the Visum et Repertum report. This study had a sample size of 161 people. The results of research examined at Bhayangkara Pekanbaru Hospital for the 2016-2021 period for the average weight of lung organs included 161 cases of dead victims who were autopsied. The research results for the average weight of the victims' lungs were 268.7051 grams for the right lung and 335.3974 grams for the left lung. The results of the research show that the police originating from the most requested resort is Pekanbaru City, 23.6%.
