Learning management system (LMS) is a software application developed to help manage the online learning process. User satisfaction is a user's assessment of the extent to which an information system can meet their needs. Usage is the user's decision to use a system. At the Faculty of Medicine, Riau University, LMS was developed as an independent learning medium on herbal medicine topics. This research aims to determine the success of herbal medicine LMS as an independent learning medium based on the level of satisfaction and timeliness of use. This research uses a sequential explanatory mix-method design. The respondents in this research were 110 students from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau, class of 2021. The results of this research showed that the use of the leaning management system was quite timely and user satisfaction was 95.4%. There is no relationship between the level of user satisfaction and the timeliness of using the herbal medicine LMS. The advantages of the learning management system are found in the aspects of content, ease of use, accuracy and timeliness, and the disadvantages are in the format aspect.
