Uji Hambatan Konsorsium Jamur Antagonis Terhadap Neoscytalidium Dimidiatum Penyebab Penyakit Kanker Batang Buah Naga Secara In-Vitro

Dragon fruit’s stem cancer disease is caused by the fungus Neoscytalidium dimidiatum. The existence of this dragon fruit stem cancer will be detrimental to farmers because it can cause a decrease in quantity and quality. One control that can be implemented is use of biological agents Trichoderma spp. and Gliocladium sp. The biological agents can be used singly or as a consortium. This research aims to obtain the best inhibition of Trichoderma spp. and Gliocladium sp. on the growth of the pathogen Neoscytalidium dimidiatum that causes stem cancer in dragon fruit plants in vitro. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, Bina Widya Campus km 12.5, Simpang Baru Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru. This research was carried out from September 2022 to January 2023. The research was conducted experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 7 treatments and 4 replications, namely T1 = Trichoderma harzianum (TH), T2 = Trichoderma hamatum (TM), T3 = Gliocladium sp. (G), T4 = TH + TM, T5 = TH + G, T6 = TM + G, and T7 = TH + TM + G, which consists of 4 stages, namely 1) Compatibility test of Trichoderma spp. and Gliocladium sp., 2) Koch's postulate test, 3) Trichoderma spp. inhibition test. and Gliocladium sp., and 4) Hyperparasitism test. The results showed that Trichoderma spp. and Gliocladium sp. compatible so that it can be used as a consortium. Koch's postulate test showed that the isolated pathogenic fungus was the cause of dragon fruit stem cancer. Consortium isolates (TH + TM + G) were the best treatment in inhibiting the pathogen N. dimidiatum with an inhibition percentage of 73.3%. The type of hyperparasite mechanism found in Trichoderma spp. and Gliocladium sp. to N. dimidiatum is the entanglement type.
