Uji Fitokimia Dari Daun Tembesu (Fagraea Fragrans Roxb.) Berdasarkan Perbedaan Umur Daun

Tembesu (Fagraea fragrans Roxb.) is one of the woody plants that has high economic value. This plant also has the secondary metabolites that can be utilized as traditional medicine, cosmetics and perfumes. This study aims to determine the compound of metabolite in Tembesu leaves based on the age level of the leaves. This research was carried out extraction of Tembesu lead by Maceration method using 70% methanol. Then the extract of Tembesu leaf was test by phytochemical test using the Munsell Color Chart to describe the test results. The results of the phytochemical tests showed that the young and mature leaves extracts of tembesu contained secondary metabolites namely alkaloids, flavonoids, triterpenoids, tannins and saponins. Mature leaves extract of tembesu contain higher alkaloid, flavonoids, triterpenoids and saponins compounds than young tembesu leaves. The content of tannis are same between young and mature leaves.
