Pengaruh Bahan Setek dan Zat Pengatur Tumbuh Terhadap Pertumbuhan Setek Tenggek Burung (Euodia Ridleyi Hochr.)
Tenggek burung (Euodia ridleyi Hochr.) is a plant that belongs to the Rutaceae family. Propagation of the tenggek burung can be obtained generatively with seeds and wild shoots from nature. This study aims to determine the effect of cutting materials and growth regulators (ZPT) on the growth of Tenggek burung (Euodia ridleyi Hochr.) cuttings. This study used a Completely Randomized Factorial Design (RALF) with 2 factors and 5 replications. The first factor is cutting material at the tip, middle and base of the stem. The second factor is growth regulators (ZPT) control, 75% coconut water, and 100 ppm IBA. The initial stages carried out were preparing the planting medium, making the shade, taking cuttings, preparing coconut water and IBA solution, treating and planting. The parameters observed were the percentage of live cuttings, the percentage of dead cuttings and the percentage of sprouting cuttings. The results showed that tenggek burung cuttings did not form roots until 6 weeks after planting. Cutting material can increase the percentage of live cuttings with the highest percentage at the base of the stem, namely 86.7%. Treatment of 100 ppm Indole Butyric Acid and 75% coconut water can increase the percentage of live cuttings by a percentage of 66.7% compared to the control of 53.3%. Cutting material can increase the percentage of cuttings that sprout with the highest percentage at the base of the stem, namely 66.7%. Indole Butyric Acid and coconut water treatment can increase the percentage of cuttings that sprout with the highest percentage, namely 46.7% in the 100 ppm Indole Butyric Acid treatment.
Key words: Coconut Water, Cutting Materials, IBA, Tenggek Burung, Growth Regulatory Substances.
