Analisis Daya Saing Ekspor Kertas Indonesia Ke Singapura Tahun 2012 - 2021

This research aims to look at the competitiveness of Indonesian paper exports to Singapore, to find out the competitive position of Indonesian paper exports to Singapore and to look at trends in the competitiveness of Indonesian paper exports to Singapore in the next 5 years. The research uses primary and secondary data, the analytical method used in the research is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The data collection technique is in the form of documentation. The results of this research show that Indonesia has strong competitiveness in paper exports to Singapore, this is because during the 2012–2021 period Indonesia had strong competitiveness. In this period, it shows that the elimination of trade quotas in 2005 had no impact on reducing the competitiveness of Indonesian paper exports to Singapore. This is proven by the continued increase in the RCA value from 2012 to 2021. The competitive position of Indonesian paper exports to Singapore shows that the Trade Specialization Index (ISP) of Indonesian paper commodities in the international market is increasingly fluctuating, with an average Trade Specialization Index (ISP) value of 0.9658. This shows that Indonesia is in a maturation stage. The trend of export competitiveness from Indonesia to Singapore for the next 5 years in 2022 using the Least Square method for paper exports is 1145338.
