Fenomena Bujang Telajak Di Desa Seko Lubuk Tigo Kecamatan Lirik Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu
This research was conducted in Seko Lubuk Tigo Village, Lirik District, Indragiri Hulu Regency with the aim of finding out the reasons why middle-aged adults who are given the stereotype of being single are not yet married and to find out the responses of middle-aged adults to the stereotype of being single that is given to them by the community in Seko Lubuk Tigo Village, Lirik District. Indragiri Hulu Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method, involving observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation in data collection. The results of the research show that the reasons behind the stereotype of single telajak are not always rational, but are also non-rational. The research findings include information that the first informant took mixed social actions (affective actions and instrumental rationality actions), the second informant took instrumental rationality social actions, the third and fourth informants took affective social actions, and the fifth informant took value-oriented social rationality actions. The responses of middle adults to the stereotype of single telajak received from the community in Seko Lubuk Tigo Village include an attitude of indifference, open-minded acceptance, gratitude, and a positive awareness that they have not yet met the best soul mate. The reactions of bujang telajak reflect a deeper thought process related to the way they process and respond to other people's words. They express an attitude of surrender to fate or God's will, reflecting awareness of human limitations in controlling all aspects of life.
