This study aims to determine the difference in the number of pawn requests at pawnshops in Pekanbaru City before and during the pandemic. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained by Pekanbaru City pawnshop 2017-2021. The data analysis technique used is nonparametric statistics using the Wilcoxon test in drawing conclusions. Based on research conducted at a sharia pawnshop in Pekanbaru City and data analysis using a nonparametric analysis test, namely Wilcoxon's signed rank test which uses spss. By using this test, the author obtained conclusions and based on the purpose of the study, namely the test results that the discussion of the number of pawn requests in sharia pawnshops before and during the pandemic there were differences.
