This study aims to determine the impact of the construction of the Pekanbaru-Bangkinang toll road on income in community businesses in the Tambang District, to determine the impact of the construction of the Pekanbaru-Bangkinang toll road on workers in community businesses in the Tambang District, and to determine the impact of the construction of the Pekanbaru-Bangkinang toll road Pekanbaru on the social conditions of the people in the Tambang District.
The method used in this study is a qualitative method using primary data as a source of data obtained from interviews and questionnaires as a data collection technique. The population of this study includes people who have businesses in Palung Raya Village and Sungai Pinang Village, Tambang District, which have businesses and the sample used is 30 respondents.
The results of this study indicate thatthe existence of the Pekanbaru-Bangkinang toll road has an impact on community businesses in the Tambang sub-district, Kampar district. From the test of the average difference between the community's business income before and after the existence of the Pekanbaru-Bangkinang toll road, for Palung Raya village a significant result (2-tailed) of 0,000 is less than < (0.05), which means there is a significant difference between revenue before and after the existence of the Pekanbaru-Bangkinang Toll Road. In the village of Sungai Pinang, a significant (2-tailed) yield of 0.007 was obtained, less than < (0.05), which means that there was a significant difference between income before and after the existence of the Pekanbaru-Bangkinang Toll Road.
